Settings - SMTP

To customize the email template, go to Settings -> Notifications -> Config. Here, you can add your logo, a top header, and bottom content to each email sent.

It is important to configure SMTP for each restaurant individually. Do not rely on the default WordPress functionality to send emails. Emails sent via a real SMTP provider are properly signed and less likely to end up in the customer's spam folder.

After configuring the parameters, press save and use the test function at the bottom to ensure it works correctly.

Using a Different SMTP Plugin

You can use a different SMTP plugin to send emails.

If you are using the Easy WP SMTP plugin, you can disable the SMTP configuration inside the dashboard:

However, if you enable SMTP within the dashboard, emails will be sent using this SMTP configuration.

Thus, any email sent through WordPress will use the Easy WP SMTP plugin, except for those sent from the Alex Reservations plugin, which will use the SMTP data configured in the dashboard.

This setup is useful if you want a general SMTP configuration for all emails in WordPress while having specific SMTP settings for each restaurant.
