We are excited to announce the release of version 1.9.9 of Alex Reservations, packed with powerful new features to enhance your booking experience.

Improved Reservation Process

We’ve made it easier for users to find available reservation dates! When the selected date is unavailable, the system will now suggest additional dates—one before and after the selected date—so users can quickly find alternative booking options.

Updated Stripe Pre-Authorization Form

We’ve upgraded the Stripe pre-authorization form to use the latest API, providing a smoother and more secure experience for users when entering their card details during the reservation process.

New Email Tag: {area_table}

We’ve added a new tag, {area_table}, for use in your email templates. This tag automatically inserts the area and/or table selected by the customer during the booking process, allowing for more personalized confirmation emails.
