Introducing Pre-Authorization for Payments Our new pre-authorization feature offers a more secure and flexible way to handle reservations and payments. Here's what you need to know: Automatic Method Selection: The system intelligently chooses between pre-authorization and card-on-file methods based on the reservation date. Enhanced Security: Pre-authorize payments for reservations within a specified timeframe, reducing the risk of no-shows. Flexible Configuration: Easily set up pre-authorization periods in your Stripe settings. Improved Customer Experience: Clear communication with customers about payment expectations. Key Features: 1. Smart Payment Handling For reservations within your specified timeframe, the system uses pre-authorization. For bookings further in advance, it defaults to the card-on-file method.
2. Stripe Integration Configure pre-authorization periods directly in your Stripe settings, with the ability to hold authorizations for up to 7 days (or more upon request).
3. Easy Dashboard Management Charge no-show customers directly from your dashboard with just a few clicks.
