History of Reservation Actions

Exciting updates have arrived with version 1.8.8 of AlexReservations that I believe you're going to absolutely love. Let's dive in:

Reservation Editor Enhancements: We've introduced additional configurations for the reservation editor to customize your experience when creating or editing bookings. Now, you have the option to switch between a scrolling window and a tabbed window. Plus, we've implemented a new feature to ensure the customer's phone number is captured when taking bookings over the phone, helping to eliminate the chance of overlooking this important detail.

Private Booking Tags: To enhance visibility within the booking list, some clients have adopted the use of booking tags. Initially, these tags were automatically included in customer notifications, as they were meant for frontend customer interaction during reservation creation. Now, you have the option to mark these tags as Private, turning them into a personal annotation tool.

Max New Seats Per Slot: At the suggestion of a client, we've added a field that allows you to control the maximum number of new seats per time slot within the 'Covers per Slot' availability mode. While the default setting lets you specify the total number of seats per slot (determining occupancy), this new addition lets you limit new bookings for specific slots, complementing the existing functionality.

Action History: This highly requested feature is now available. Whether it's troubleshooting a reservation or simply tracking its history, you can now view a comprehensive list of all actions associated with a booking, including creation details and whether an action was customer or manager-initiated.
