Hello We're excited to announce version 1.7.5 of our Alex Reservations plugin, which introduces several updates to the reservation form designed to enhance user experience. One significant improvement is the addition of multilingual support for Shifts and Events names and descriptions. Now, when a customer switches languages on the front-end, the widget will automatically update to reflect their chosen language. Based on feedback from multiple clients, we've also integrated the ability to display not available time slots alongside available ones. This feature was implemented to address confusion from customers who didn't understand why no slots were appearing for selection, even after a message indicating unavailability was shown. By showing these slots in a greyed-out state, we aim to clarify availability and reduce misunderstandings, preventing unnecessary calls to inquire about slot availability. We've also introduced the following enhancements: - A new email tag, {end_time}, has been added to indicate the end time of a reservation, providing clearer communication to customers about their booking details. - Customization of widget messages post-reservation completion is now available on a per-shift basis. This allows for tailored communication depending on the specific shift booked. For example, you can differentiate messages for lunch or dinner reservations, highlighting special dishes or offers relevant to each. - The option to display or hide the reservation's duration during the booking process is now controllable for each shift. This feature is particularly beneficial for establishments operating multiple shifts in a single evening, where, for instance, the first shift might have a time limit, but the second does not. This enables clear communication of expectations depending on the shift chosen by the customer. Have a nice week!
