Re-confirm reservation
Hello We're excited to announce a new functionality in version 1.6.8. Now, you have the option to request users to re-confirm their reservations. This feature is particularly useful in reducing no-shows. For reservations made well in advance – be it days or months – it's practical to ask your clients for re-confirmation. Include a notice in your reminder messages informing them of the need to re-confirm their booking. Upon clicking the link to their reservation view, they will see a new option: 'Reconfirm my reservation'. Clicking this will change the reservation status to 'User Reconfirmed'. If a client doesn't re-confirm, you have the flexibility to follow up with a phone call for confirmation or consider cancelling the reservation. To activate the re-confirmation button for customers, you must enable it in the Shift settings. This is a shift/event-specific feature, giving you the control to decide when re-confirmation is necessary. Cheers
