Version 1.2.5 CSV import
Hello
Get ready to be thrilled as I unveil the latest enhancements in the Alex Reservations plugin. Let's dive right in!
Pre-payments
We've listened to our clients' feedback and are thrilled to introduce a highly anticipated feature: payments for reservations. This exciting addition is designed to combat no-shows effectively. By implementing a small fee, you can significantly reduce the occurrence of customers failing to appear for their dining reservations.
You have the flexibility to manage payments for shifts and events independently. Customize your payment settings based on the number of guests or set a fixed price per reservation.
Our advanced system allows you to define multiple payment rules per shift, offering unparalleled flexibility. Customize your payment options based on specific days, time slots, or date ranges. For instance, you can allow free reservations on most days and require pre-payment only on high-demand days, ensuring your tables are always occupied.
To begin implementing pre-payments on your site, all you need is a Stripe account. With Stripe, you gain access to a wide range of payment methods, including popular options like Apple Pay and Google Pay. Simply activate these methods within your Stripe account, and they will automatically appear in the checkout form, providing a seamless payment experience for your customers.
We've implemented an automated email reminder system for customers who have abandoned the payment form at the last moment. Our system will send gentle reminders to encourage them to complete the payment and finalize their reservation. This feature ensures a seamless booking process and reduces the likelihood of missed opportunities.
Exciting new settings for shifts and events are now available!
You can set a buffer time to allow booking cancellations and modifications. Customize the rules to prevent customers from canceling their bookings within a specific timeframe, such as 24 hours before the reservation.
We also recommend reviewing the following additional adjustments:
- Introduction of the new {service} tag in emails to display the shift/event name
- Default country dial code inclusion in the reservation form
- Placeholder added to all widget fields
- Addition of a custom message field in widget settings for when no slots are available
- Greek translation for email templates
I'd love to hear any feedback you have about things that could work differently or improvements that could be made.
So, please hit the reply button and share your feedback.
Cheers
